Job Summary:


Primary focus will be to service the existing business, operationally and financially, while maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new business where possible.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides support to Regional HR Director and acts as backup on all regional Human Resources related needs
  • Supports the recruitment process by ensuring all applicants utilize the applicant tracking system; interviews candidates and onboarding of staff
  • Assists in developing and implementing human resources plans, policies, procedures and goals. Recommends improvements as appropriate
  • Guides employees, Supervisors and Management through investigative processes of employee relations and makes recommendations when necessary
  • Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels. Meets with Hiring Managers to develop specific recruitment plans
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Maintains, updates and continues compliance with all assigned group employee files through eFile cabinet
  • Maintains HRIS records and compiles reports for Management as requested
  • Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans for assigned group
  • Facilitates communication among employees and management. Guide Management and employee base on problem solving, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and litigation avoidance
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • PHR certification preferred but not required
  • A minimum of 5 years HR Generalist experience
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Self-starter with excellent dependability, judgment and integrity
  • Knowledge of federal, state and local laws
