Job Summary:


With over 9000 employees in 48 states across the US, Harvard is partnering with a large national account to provide janitorial services in key geographies around the US. Under the general direction of the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Coordinator handles full cycle payroll administration. Responsibilities include monitoring all tasks necessary to accomplish the organization’s payroll processing objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Compile, input and update payroll data: 600-1000 employees+
  • Collect timesheets ensuring they are completed accurately
  • Payroll point-of contact for timekleeping administration
  • Contact Supervisors regarding missed timecards
  • Distributeregional  payroll checks, sorting checks (organizing mailing, federal express, etc.)
  • Maintain and organize confidential payroll files
  • Answer payroll inquiries and resolve all discrepancies as they arise
  • Garnishment processing

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Payroll Department
  • Associates Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Must be extremely detail orientated and have excellent mathematical abilities
  • Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Windows environment with a concentrated proficiency in MS Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
