A day in the life:

The Metal Maintenance Technician is responsible for the cleaning, polishing, and restoration of various metal surfaces throughout assigned properties. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all metal finishes meet the highest standards of appearance and preservation.

• Perform routine cleaning and polishing of stainless steel, brass, aluminum, and other metal surfaces.
• Apply basic masking techniques to protect adjacent surfaces during metal treatment procedures.
• Conduct basic metal stripping procedures as needed for restoration work.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Report any surface damage, deterioration, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain equipment and materials in clean and operable condition.
• Ensure work areas are clean and organized upon task completion.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Prior experience in commercial metal cleaning or maintenance preferred.
• Familiarity with various metal surfaces and appropriate cleaning/restoration methods.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow detailed instructions.
• Must be punctual and dependable with the ability to work assigned shifts.
• Possess a valid and unexpired driver’s license.
