    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Job Summary:

    Seasonal position that primarily focuses on servicing the existing business by cleaning the exterior and interior windows of commercial, retail and residential buildings; while maintaining relationships with existing customers by providing superior service.  Equipment may be used, includes but not limited to, sponges, squeegees, scaffolding, poles, cloths, ladders, etc.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Able to work on high rise buildings, anywhere from the 1st floor up to 65 stories high
    • Able to work in all temperatures
    • Able to clean windows while wearing a safety belt
    • Able to clean windows with a stick, pole is 6' to 32' long
    • Able to set and climb a ladder from 6' to 32' high
    • Able to carry equipment up to 50lbs
    • Able to stand long periods of time




    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • 5-10 years' experience as a commerical/residential window cleaner
    • Currently attending the apprenticeship class at 32BJ Union (or completed apprenticeship)
    • Must be able to work the assigned hours of 6am - 2pm
    • Strong communication skills
    • Strong customer service skills


    Harvard is offering a competitive hourly rate of $29.30 per hour, and union benefits (details come from 32BJ)
