    Job Summary:

     

    Primary focus will be to service the existing business, operationally and financially, while maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new business where possible.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Collaborate in the development of the strategic sales initiatives
    • Work directly with SVP & with Sales and Marketing team to strategize and develop new business plans
    • Achieve annual sales and profit objectives for region
    • Obtain new business, cultivate existing relationships, and exceed regional sales budget
    • Develop and present sales presentations to prospective and current clients to demonstrate Harvard’s experience and qualifications
    • Establish positive and long-term client relationships through prospecting and conducting meetings with clients
    • Become knowledgeable on current clients in order to renegotiate expiring contracts
    • Develop and maintain a full business pipeline of prospective clients
    • Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, account plans and regional management activities
    • Close new business opportunities
    • Responsible for coordinating quarterly sales and revenue reviews with leadership
    • Maintain knowledge of competitors, industry trends and Harvard services
    • Attend conferences and trade shows as required

    Knowledge and Skill Requirements

    • Minimum of 5 years industry sales experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
    • Proven and documented track record of winning business.
    • Must be able to demonstrate a history of competitive wins within the industry
    • Exceptional client focus skills and superior presentation skills
    • Ability to present and influence customer and internal management
    • Excellent leadership skills that foster teamwork and ability to build cross-functional relationships
